Potty training {specifically the #2 department}: It’s the stage of childhood that can generate fear and trembling in the bravest of parents. Will your child get it or will they resist you at every turn?  Will you forever be called to the bathroom EVERY time nature calls to your child?   Will they go to college not knowing how to use the facilities properly? Just how long CAN someone go without going p**p? Having three years of this under my belt, I know that it gradually gets better; I know that it takes a lot of patience, compassion and prayer. I also know that my child can hold off nature for a LONG time {over three weeks is not uncommon} .
Potty training can be h-e-double hockey sticks, but you do eventually get to a point where you can laugh.  I found this clip from NBC’s show, About A Boy absolutely relate-able and quite funny. In this episode, Will – a single guy –  is babysitting his best friend’s kids and experiencing the foreign world of children.

Happy Hump Day!
