Fear can often seem like a mountain whose terrain is insurmountable. We can feel incapacitated and therefore lose our motivation to accomplish even life’s menial tasks.
BUT we don’t have to stay there.
Joshua encouraged Israel and encourages us in Deut. 31:6, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; HE will never leave you nor forsake you.”
AND David, when running for his life chose truth over being paralyzed by fear, “When I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God whose Word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid.” When we place our fearful eyes on Jesus we can steadily walk (or crawl if we must) onward knowing that He is with us no matter what the road looks like. His love knows NO bounds and His faithfulness is NOT dependent on our performance.
So as you stumble and fall on your journey, remember Jesus is with you and watches over you with eyes filled with LOVE and COMPASSION. Cling to Jesus and walk forward with COURAGE and FAITH!
I hope that this has served to encourage you. I would love for you to share this with those in your life who may be struggling, that they too may be encouraged.
